As a defense contractor, there are specific programs requiring a certain level of security clearance and special access for assigned staff. The selected candidate will be required to secure these accesses. Not being able to secure the Interim Secret Security Clearance needed for this position may result in an offer of employment being rescinded.

The Hardware Engineering Center (HWEC) is an engineering organization that focuses on product producibility and mission assurance. It is a vital link in the integrated product development process that allows Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) to introduce reliable new products faster, better, and more economically.

Job Description:
Successful candidate for the Electronics Center position will participate in Design, Development, test and integration of Receiver/Exciter sub-systems for Airborne or Space products. Projects will include requirement developments, hardware partitioning, conceptual and architectural development of RF/Microwave hardware. Tasks will include design, build, test and integration of modern digital Receiver, Upconverter, Stalo, arbitrary Waveform Generator and associated circuits. Frequency range will cover from DC to KU Band. Growth potential includes team management, technical, functional and project management.

Required Skills:

  • 6 plus years of Hands-on RF circuit design, analysis, simulation and test experience
  • Must have a minimum of 6 years of design experience in the areas of RF/Microwave circuit design
  • Must be able to design circuits from requirements.
  • Experience in generating schematics, layout of Analog/RF/Microwave circuits
  • Experience in performing gain distribution of Receiver/Exciter circuits
  • Experience in performing circuit simulations using ADS or similar software tools
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need to have active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience in using HFSS simulation tool

Required Education (including major): Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with focus in Electronic circuits from an accredited university
