Reporting to the Vice President of the Strategy and Business Development organization, this Technical Assistant Role supports the VP in managing day-to-day functional operations. The primary responsibility is to provide proactive guidance and assistance to the VP in daily job execution to ensure smooth operations and optimize VP work efforts. The position will be responsible for managing the business rhythms to include coordination and/or preparation of charts and materials for meetings, tracking action items and ensuring action items are closed in a timely manner and partnering with VP’s Executive Assistant to help in managing day-to-day activities.
• Preparing, researching and coordinating due diligence for VP customer and internal meetings and events;
• Developing agenda and coordinating content for S&BD and Business Area reviews (IORs, Strategy Reviews, Executive Staff Offsites, etc.).
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking and business acumen skills, exhibit exceptional organizational skills, demonstrate proactive thinking, operate autonomously as appropriate and produce superior work products under short deadlines.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a high potential professional seeking a role with broad exposure across the S&BD organization and the Lockheed Martin Space Business Area. Responsibilities also include special projects as assigned. This is a rotational assignment with anticipation to last 18 - 24 months. Occasional travel is required.
