About your new role

As the capability documents developer you will work as part of team implementing a key Defence program. Your role will be to develop Capability Definition Documentation for sub elements of the overall program.

To be successful in this role you must have

Experience in developing Capability Definition Documentation for the Australian Department of Defence, or have worked directly with the requirements derived from such documentation as part of Defence industry in an acquisition project environment.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills as you will be required to engage with project teams, conduct workshops with stakeholder including end users and systems developers.

Exceptional attention to detail is a must, as you will lead the development of documentation detailing the operational concept(s), develop specifications detailing the required functional and performance characteristics as well as review the capability needs and associated business cases and execution strategies.

Q ualifications and experience required

Significant experience (6

years) in developing Capability Definition Documentation with CASG

Operational experience in a joint environment would be highly advantageous

A graduate of CTMC or ATSOC - highly desirable

To be eligible you must hold Australian Citizenship with current or previous Australian Government Security Clearance at NV1 or higher
