The Site Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations at the Repairable Issue Point (RIP) field site to include supervision of a small team (2-4) Raytheon employees. This Site Manager is also responsible for effective Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) management utilizing the FORCE Logistics System II (FLS II). Primary objectives is the management of successful routing of Material Remanufacturing Requisitions into FLS II and the physical movement of retrograde property from the Marine Corps to the appropriate sub-contractor for remanufacturing and re-certification. Other duties assigned but are not limited to the performance and execution of the SOW to include planning, development acquisition, integration, and delivery of all ILS elements necessary to support and maintain the repair and remanufacture of US Marine Corps Secondary Reparables. Major expectations are to interface with our Customer to communicate Maintenance and Logistical practices in support of the Marine Corps mission while insuring positive performance criteria. The Site Manager will also demonstrate the Requisition order fulfillment process using industry benchmarks and best practices. The Site Manager must be able to motivate others in a cross-functional team to collect data, formulate programs and implement Industrial solutions to improve service and support to the customer.

Additional tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Effective daily communication with their customer
  • Participate in or consult with concept development and or integrated process teams
  • Ensure cross training of team members to promote personnel development
  • Execute establish program objectives, strategies, plans and schedules
  • Manage personnel assigned to the site
  • Recommends, interprets, and/or implements company and internal administrative policies and procedures
  • Develop/identify new Site Management tools to enhance capabilities
  • Implements Industrial solutions to improve service and direct support to the customer of the Reparable Issue Point (RIP) and Supported Activity Supply System (SASSY)
  • Will be required when necessary to manage multiple customer accounts through one site location
  • Manages Site Transportation Cost and Site Operations Cost. Responsible for the scheduling and plans and coordinates all phase of domestic and international transportation in accordance with contractual requirements, and fully supports the maximum utilization of Electronic Retrograde Management System eRMS and the TTC single transportation carrier as part of achieving the Navy's Cost-Wise readiness goals
  • Project Scheduling; Logistical support planning, develops and updates project-specific plans and procedures to manage, coordinate and perform the delivery, supply and re-supply, spares / depot level provisioning, and system repair and return programs
  • Resource planning to guarantee fulfillment of service level agreements, Allocate SECREPS to various suppliers CONUS and OCONUS
  • Manages all administrative Matters, Statistical Reports and Technical processes
  • Manages the utilization of Configuration Checklist, Defense Logistics Information Service "FEDLOG", Force Logistics Systems "FLS II", Power Trac
  • Monitors and validates annual Sale's & Booking Reports specific to assigned site
  • Monitors and Validates On Time Deliveries (Turn Around Time) that affect overall performance rating, Monitors and Validates Supplier "Open Orders" and coordinates with Supply Chain Management "SCM", monitors and validates Supplier status reports
  • Supervisory Relations - Accomplishes results through lower level subordinate supervisors or through experienced exempt employees who exercise significant latitude and independence in their assignments. Often heads a centralized functional activity.
  • Impact - Ensures that projects are completed on schedule and within budget,
  • Manpower Development - Accountable for the training, development and retention of the qualified personnel at the site
  • Liaison - Frequent contacts with internal personnel and outside customer representatives at various management levels concerning scheduling or operations of a specific nature relate to that site
  • Problem Solving - Develops solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation, while ensuing solutions are ethical and consistent with organizational objectives.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of six years of related experience in production management and customer service/support, logistics, depot operations, or sustainment
  • Demonstrated experience with scheduling, planning, and coordinating all phase of domestic and international transportation
  • Experience planning, development acquisition, integration, and delivery of work products
  • Ability to communicate parties within and outside of own job function as well as communicating with parties external to the organization (e.g. customers, vendors, etc.)
  • Influence parties within and outside of the job function at an operational level regarding policies, procedures and practices.
  • Experience managing projects requiring responsibility for the delegation of work and the review of others' work product.

Required Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Logistics or similar field of study.
  • Work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Desired Skills:
  • Prior experience with FORCE Logistics System II (FLS II)
