Industrial Security Manager

This is an Industrial Security Manager position reporting directly to the Andover Security Manager. The successful candidate will act in the role of Assistant Security Manager assisting with the responsibility and oversight of a large and expanding complex manufacturing facility. You must possess a clear understanding of physical security requirements as it pertains to DoD classified Closed Area construction and Protected Distribution Systems. Prior supervisory/managerial experience of Document Control functions and Security Office administration is highly desirable. Prior experience with conducting Administrative Inquiries involving Violations of the National Industrial Security Program. You must be able to determine root cause for these incidents and recommend corrective actions. This position will also work closely with the Human Resources Labor Relations organization and assist with Workplace Violence prevention and corrective actions. Prior experience with Business Continuity and disaster preparedness desirable.

This position requires an active U.S. Security Clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Required Skills:

  • In depth NISPOM experience.
  • This position requires an active U.S. Security Clearance
  • Prior Supervisory/Managerial experience.
  • Strong communications skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to make decisions with little Managerial oversight.
  • Closed Area/PDS construction experience.
  • Workplace Violence and Business Continuity experience.
  • Prior experience working with Labor Relations for employee conflict resolution.

Desired Skills:
  • Public speaking/Security Education and Training.
  • Familiarity with Security Software tools such as JPAS/Access Commander/Perspective.
  • Prior Information Assurance and COMSEC experience is a plus.

Required Education (including Major):
  • Bachelors Degree in Business/Criminal Justice or other discipline. Significant applicable experience will be considered in lieu of degree at the Hiring Manager's discretion.
