General Responsibilities: The Senior Manager oversees the Tool Administration staff who are responsible for supporting the Business Intelligence and Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) tools. These BI/ETL tools include: MicroStrategy, Cognos, SAS EBI, Business Objects, Informatica and Esri. The candidate will manage and prioritize the team workload, including ad hoc requests and assignments. The manager will participate in client meetings and provide status updates for internal and external. Participates in crisis bridge/technical troubleshooting, as needed. Manages project risks and issues, escalating to them to the program manager, as appropriate. Ensures deliverables/milestones were met.
Bachelor of Science in a related technical or business field required; advanced degree preferred.
12+ years of progressive experience in the information technology services industry required; with previous experience managing large to complex projects preferred.
May substitute appropriate experience or education as needed
Scrum Master Experience and SAFe Agile Experience
Familiarity leading a project team on Business Intelligence solutions, associated enhancements, complexities, and impacts.
Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and ETLsurrounding healthcare data.
Knowledge of the infrastructure needed to run Business Intelligence tools and ETL and to be able to provide expert advice to the CMS stakeholders.
Experience in coordination, reporting, motivation,measuring, and evaluation of Business Intelligence projects, ensuring the timely completion of milestones, and providing reports of BI tools project metrics to client management and stakeholders.
Successfully led a project team supporting Business Intelligence solutions, associated enhancements, complexities and impacts.
Possess Business Intelligence Tools and ETL knowledge surrounding healthcare data.
Knowledge of required infrastructure to run Business Intelligence tools and ETL, and to be able to provide expert advice to the CMS stakeholders.
Provide the project office function of coordination, reporting, motivation, measuring, and evaluation of Business Intelligence projects, ensuring timely completion of milestones, and provide reports of BI tools project metrics to management and stakeholders.
Act as the central point of contact with clients for making sure the BI tools performance, availability and access are being met in accordance all task order requirements.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents.
Strong interpersonal skills and effective time management skills.
Establishes and maintains effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of the organization, both written and verbal
Must be proficient in Microsoft OfficeSuite. Microsoft Project is required.

Other skills preferred:
Previous experience with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) contracts a plus.
