Job Summary

  • Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.

  • Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.

  • Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.

  • Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered.

  • Identifies discrepancies in results.

  • Provides guidance to entry level engineers.

  • Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.

Minimum Requirements

B.S. degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or similar.

2+ years of relevant experience to include experience performing air emissions inventories and database management

MS Office, especially demonstrated Excel skills

Excellent oral and written communications skills, strong computer skills and be a self-starter

Preferred Qualifications

EIT or eligible for PE within 6 months of hire date preferred

Some experience conducting air pollution control technology evaluations, preparing air permit applications, calculation of air pollutant source emissions using Environmental Protection Agency procedures or regulatory analysis and technical report preparation.

VisualBasic knowledge preferred
