Quality Engineer

Seeking a mid-level Manufacturing/Quality Engineer to support weapon system manufacturing quality and reliability. The individual will participate in specification development and review, scope of work development, quality audits, physical configuration audits, drawing reviews, and engineering change proposal review. Occasional travel may be required.

MS Office skills a must, excellent communications skills, both oral and written required, including customer presentations.

Candidate must be eligible for a security clearance which requires US citizenship.

BS in Engineering or Business required with Electrical Engineering preferred and a minimum of 20 years’ related experience

Experience with U.S. Army or other DoD programs a plus. Desired experience in engineering and electronics manufacturing processes, product acceptance, production drawings. DoD experience desired; familiarity with J-Standards, Military, and DoD standards also desired. The individual should be detail oriented and fact driven. Experience with MS Access also desired. Experience with the PAC-3 Missile Seeker is highly desirable.

DoD, Quality or Product Assurance experience: Quality engineering, quality management, industrial management, quality auditing, ISO9001, AS9102, AS9104, qualification testing, first article testing, or reliability all desired.
