The Mobile Administrator is part of the team that is responsible for the technical aspects of
Raytheon’s existing – Rmobile Service. This position will play an instrumental role in maintaining
and developing mobile services capabilities in support of Raytheon’s digital transformation
initiatives while working closely with our Service Delivery Manager and Sr. Technical staff to
ensure continuity of service.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage, monitor and participate in planning system upgrades of the Enterprise Mobile Management environment
  • Resolve escalated problems experienced from the service. Investigate root cause for incidents and participate in delivering corrective action. Escalate to Sr. technical staff as required
  • Provides support, (administration, maintenance, monitoring, backup, contingency), for enterprise mobile device management technologies
  • Identifies and participates in improvement opportunities spanning service delivery, user experience, security, etc.
  • Perform root cause analysis of critical outage and incidents, participates in developing permanent solutions, and coordinate implementation
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure continuity of service
  • Participate in efforts with IT Security and Technical Architecture groups to certify email solutions
  • Support technology evaluations of new features and functions
  • Develop solutions to end user issues
  • Participate in projects designed to enhance the service
  • Ensure changes, incidents, and new releases to the service are managed to Raytheon expectations
  • Suggest and participate in implementation of new processes as process gaps are defined and service matures
  • Participate in operational reviews and other service meetings as required
  • Provide written job aids to the Service Desk
  • Maintain existing and, as required, develop new documentation that will include but is not limited to SOPs and System Architecture Guides and diagrams adhering to organizational templates, policies, and standards
  • Serve as an expert to support the education and training of end users, working to increase end user proficiency and adoption of implemented solutions
  • Partner with the business to certify and deploy Mobile Applications that will improve user productivity and deliver business value.
  • Partner with Communications to ensure a robust and active Rspace community & Self-service tools
  • Participate in 24/7 on call rotation
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:

Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience implementing and managing MobileIron EMM or similar platform in a multi-site, geographically-distributed enterprise. Experience must include:

  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Skills/Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync
  • Skills/Knowledge of mobile security best practices.
  • Skills/Knowledge of mobile COTS applications and their deployment via enterprise mobile management solutions
  • Familiarity with Apple Device Enrollment Program (DEP) and Volume Purchase Program (VPP)
  • Experience with cellular, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies as it pertains to enterprise mobile device usage
  • Willing and able to participate in 24/7 rotation

Desired Skills:
  • Understanding of mail/messaging concepts and technology
  • Experience with enterprise data centers, networking and firewalls
  • Experience with virtual assistance, mixed and virtual reality and biometric authentication
  • Experience performing hardware/software product evaluations, trade-off analysis, configuration and enhancement support directly related to work-place or business optimization
  • Knowledge of Microsoft O365 D/ITAR and/or GCC High (especially pertaining to Intune and Office Mobile)
  • Understanding of emergent technologies such as DLP, cloud data protection, digital rights management, wireless power charging, IOT and beacons
  • Powershell scripting skills
  • ITIL certification

Required Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, IT, or related field or equivalent work experienc
