General Responsibilities:
· Experience in building responsive UIs with modern front end technologies (Angular 2+, Sass, Typescript, Bootstrap)
· Demonstrable knowledge with Java EE, Java generics and concurrent programming.
· Excellent knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle), SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2,Hibernate)
· Preferred experience with Spring Framework (Boot, Cloud, Security, Data)
· Preferred experience with continuous testing using ATTD and associated technologies (Fitnesse, JUnit, Karma/Jasmine)
· Preferred experience with AWS or other Cloud platforms
· Preferred experience with Big Data (Cloudera) & Java integration
· Experience with open source platforms and cloud technologies (AWS EC2, AWS ECS, OpenSCAP, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Maven, Artifactory, FitNesse, Netflix OSS, Eureka, Zuul, RabbitMQ, Splunk, etc.)
· Troubleshoot build failures, environment issues and technical blockers; plan and execute fast rollback and fix forward
· Institute performance metrics and monitoring for microservices architecture and software development environments
· Provide communication to Agile team members to manage expectations and schedule coordination
· Demonstrate DevOps concepts to customers and IPT members
· All other duties as assigned or directed

Mandatory Skills:
· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, education and/or formal training may substitute for experience requirement
· 7+ years of experience with systems/application analysis & design
· 4+ years of combined experience SOA/Microservice architecture/REST integration
· 3 + years of DevOps experience including familiarity with languages and file formats such as: Groovy, JSON, YAML, Go, Perl, Python, Ruby, Dockerfile and RPM
· NIX OS administration and scripting with Shell and YUM, as well as ability to adopt new scripting languages
