Raytheon IIS is seeking a Team player to perform a variety of tasks in a customer focused environment. Individuals will be
accountable to commitments with in the Raytheon Company and/or Sea Sparrow Program, should be able
to identify process improvement opportunities, and expected to escalate issues to leadership for
resolution (as required). Under limited supervision, the Technical Support Specialist performs a wide
variety of technical tasks in support of NATO Sea Sparrow Weapons System including processes,
engineering, quality control, calibration, production/test environment, and field operations. Tests,
troubleshoots, repairs, maintains and installs a wide variety of electronic, electromechanical, and
mechanical equipment. Observes, analyzes and reports test data, and when appropriate make necessary
repairs to equipment. Works on hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanical, mechanical and related
equipment by performing one or a combination of the following using drawings, wire lists and technical
repair standards: disassemble/reassembles, removes, installs, repairs and modifies components of
missile/fire control systems/equipment within the facility and on board ships. Troubleshoots and repairs
sub-assemblies and system cabinets. Checks work for correctness. Performs other duties as required.

• 6+ years of applicable hands-on experience ideally specifically related to performing mechanical assembly and limited testing of sub-assemblies and system cabinets.
• Must be a US Citizen with current/active Secret Security Clearance
• Ability to read and interpret drawings to perform measurements and troubleshoot electronic equipment.
• Experience using micrometers, torque measuring devices, tap and die tools, dial indicators and depth
• Ability to read and interpret drawings to perform measurements.
• Highly professional demeanor and demonstrated ability to multitask.
• Demonstrates superior oral and written communication skills.

Required Education (including Major):
• High School or Equivalent
